How much is the entrance ticket?
The entrance to the shrine and access to the services offered by the Tourism Office are free. To help with the financial support of Torreciudad, we suggest that visitors and pilgrims contribute € 5 per person at any of the collection boxes located around the shrine.
Is it open all year-round?
Yes, Torreciudad is open 365 days a year with the following schedule.
Does public transport reach the sanctuary?
The closest city that can be reached by public coach service is Barbastro, which is 24 km (approximately 15 miles) away from the shrine. Next to Barbastro’s bus station, there is a taxi stand which provides round trip service to Torreciudad.
Is there a dress code for visitors to the shrine?
No, a dress code is not necessary; we only ask our visitors to take into account that this is a church: and avoid swimsuits, very short pants (shorts) and suspenders. Taking care of these details facilitates coexistence and respects the atmosphere of spirituality and prayer offered by the shrine to pilgrims.
Can I visit the shrine in a wheelchair?

Are pets allowed?
Only guide dogs, especially trained for people with disabilities, are allowed in the shrine. Next to the car park there is an safe area for your pets with shade, water and bags for animal waste.
Who can visit and participate in the activities of the shrine?
Everyone. Our Lady of Torreciudad is a Marian devotion with almost ten centuries of history and very deep roots in High Aragón. The gratitude of Saint Josemaría Escrivá, founder of Opus Dei, to the Virgin of Torreciudad, moved him to promote the construction of this new shrine to Her.
